Diffusion Studio for Mac

Diffusion Studio for Mac

We’re releasing Diffusion Studio for Mac together with dapi, a command-line tool that lets coding agents work directly in the editor.

Your agent can analyze footage, create and animate compositions, build motion graphics, generate media, add captions, and export. Work with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or Gemini CLI through our editing skill.

You and your agent, working together

Everything your agent creates stays fully editable in Diffusion Studio. Your agent can also build on work you’ve created or edited yourself. Refine the composition on the canvas and timeline, or ask your agent for further changes.

Now open source

We’re also making Diffusion Studio open source. The editor, Mac app, and dapi CLI are available on GitHub under the MPL 2.0 license.

Get started

Download Diffusion Studio for Mac and connect your agent.

Start with your own footage, a new composition, or a project you’ve already begun. Here are a few things to try:

Turn this pottery session into a 30-second film, from shaping the clay to the finished piece. Let the workshop sounds set the pace, with no music or captions.

Create a 20-second animation explaining why the Moon has phases. Show its orbit around Earth alongside the view from the ground, with labels that follow each phase.

I’ve designed the opening scene. Create a matching end card using its typography and colors, then animate the title and website address in sequence.

Start creating with Diffusion Studio.
